A SPACE FOR THE REAL WORK

You don’t need to have all the answers here.

There can be a strange gap between learning how therapy works and actually sitting opposite another human being who is hurting.

You may understand the theory and still leave a session wondering, Was that enough?

You may replay something you said, worry that you missed something important, or simply feel unsure about what to do next.

You can bring all of that here.

MY APPROACH TO SUPERVISION

Become more yourself as a therapist, not a version of someone else.

My role is not to turn you into a version of me.

It is to help you develop your own clinical thinking, deepen your understanding of the therapeutic relationship and become increasingly confident in your own therapeutic voice.

I bring my experience, perspective and clinical knowledge, while remaining curious about yours.

Sometimes that means slowing a session down together and looking beneath what happened. Sometimes we may explore what is unfolding between you and your client or what the work is stirring in you.

At other times, I may offer another perspective, ask a difficult question or challenge something that feels important to stay with.

Supervision, for me, is a collaborative relationship: clinically thoughtful and ethically grounded, without losing warmth, curiosity or humanity.

WHAT WE CAN EXPLORE

The client, the relationship, the work and you within it.

The therapeutic relationship
Transference, countertransference, ruptures, boundaries and what may be happening between you and your client.

Trauma & attachment
Looking beneath symptoms to understand protective adaptations, attachment patterns and relational wounds.

Parts & inner experience
Working thoughtfully with conflicting parts, defences, shame and the client's internal world.

When you feel stuck
The clients you cannot quite reach, sessions that feel flat, chaotic or repetitive and moments when you simply do not know what to do.

You in the room
Your reactions, doubts, triggers, intuition and limits, and what the therapeutic relationship may be evoking in you.

Growing your practice
Professional identity, confidence, boundaries and the realities of developing a sustainable private practice.

Supervision creates room for what was felt but not spoken,
noticed but not understood and
carried out of the room.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING

Your client work and what the work brings up in you.

A client you feel stuck with

A case you keep thinking about after the session.

Your own response

Feelings, triggers or patterns the work brings up in you.

A difficult moment with a client

Something you said, didn't say or wish you'd handled differently.

An ethical question

When the right way forward doesn't feel immediately clear.

Something happening between you

A shift, rupture or dynamic you can't quite make sense of.

Your development

Your confidence, boundaries, wellbeing and therapeutic identity.

YOUR SUPERVISOR

Hi, I'm Dorota.

I'm an integrative psychotherapist, clinical hypnotherapist and clinical supervisor, with a background in psychology and health psychology.

My approach to supervision is relational, curious and engaged.

I'm interested not only in what happened in the session, but in what may be happening between you and your client and what the work may be stirring in you.

I particularly enjoy supervising therapists interested in relational depth, attachment, trauma-informed practice and what sits beneath the presenting problem.

I want supervision to be somewhere you can think out loud, bring uncertainty and say “I don't know” without feeling you should already have the answer.

STARTING SUPERVISION

Let's begin with a conversation.

01 Introductory Call

Before we begin, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call to talk about what you are looking for from supervision, your current stage of practice and what kind of support you need. If we decide to work together, I’ll send you a welcome email with our supervision contract, practical information and a link to our sessions.

02 First Supervision

Our first session is about getting to know you as a practitioner - your caseload, the way you work, where you feel confident and where you might value more support. We’ll explore what you would like from supervision and begin shaping a relationship that offers the right balance of reflection, support and thoughtful challenge.

03 Ongoing Supervision

From there, supervision becomes a regular space for whatever needs attention - your client work, clinical questions and professional development, but also you: how the work affects you, what you’re carrying and your wellbeing as a practitioner.

Standard rates

60 minutes - £80

90 minutes - £120

Introductory rates · first 3 months

Sessions can be arranged fortnightly or monthly, depending on your caseload, professional requirements and the level of support you need.

Your questions answered

01. Do you supervise trainee therapists?

Yes. I work with both trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists working with adults. For trainees, we can also consider the supervision requirements of your course and placement.

02. Can you supervise me if we work in different modalities?

Potentially, yes. I work integratively and don't expect supervisees to practise exactly as I do. Our introductory call gives us an opportunity to consider whether my experience and approach are appropriate for your work.

03. How often should I have supervision?

Supervision can be arranged fortnightly or monthly, depending on your caseload, stage of practice and professional or training requirements.

04. Can we discuss private practice as well as clinical work?

Yes. Client work remains central, but supervision can also include professional identity, boundaries, confidence, ethical decision-making and developing a sustainable private practice.

READY TO TALK?

If you are looking for supervision and wondering whether we might work well together, we can start with a conversation.

You don’t need to have it all figured out before we speak.
